Deeper week | Element: Fire | Primary Practice: Ritual

This week’s practice works best as a ritual, but you can write about the experience afterward, voice-record your reflections, or let the ritual itself be the practice. Please just create some record you can return to.

Last week you took yourself on a date and started falling in love with yourself. This week we're building on that foundation as we move into the Ace of Wands.  The Ace of Wands is the card of creative fire, passion pursuits, and the universe giving you a nudge.

When you're rooted in self-love (like you practiced last week), you get clearer about what you actually want. Not what you should want. Not what looks good on paper. What makes your whole body say hell yes.

Let's dream big.

Understanding the Ace of Wands

The Tarot of the Holy Spectrum Infinity Edition deck shows a wand intact but ablaze. It's an offering, an invitation. New creative fire wants to ignite in you.  This is the universe telling you to reach out, grab that flaming wand, and get to work.

The Ace of Wands is a nudge from the universe to start your new passion pursuit. It's that moment when you feel the fierce burn of certainty.  You know, in your body, that THIS is the project, the dream, the next chapter.

Unfortunately, you probably have more than one dream fighting for your attention. The Ace of Wands asks you to honor all of them, and then choose which ones get your energy this year.

When you love yourself (Week 1), you give yourself permission to want big things. The Ace of Wands asks: what are you brave enough to call in?

Primary Practice: RITUAL — It Is Done

Gather: paper, scissors, a candle, a fireproof plate or dish, a small box or bag (the kind that holds jewelry works perfectly).

Light your candle.

Write down your biggest dreams for yourself this year.  One dream per slip of paper. Don't hold back. Let yourself want everything. New career. Creative project. Relationships. Body that feels strong and capable. Financial stability. Adventure. Write it all.

Now look at all your dreams spread in front of you.

Pick 2-3 to focus on this year. All of your dreams matter, but it is an act of self-love to be realistic about your energy. Tuck the remaining dreams away somewhere you can find them at the end of the year. (They might be next year's dreams. They might surprise you.)

Take your 2-3 chosen dreams.  Read each one and sit and envision yourself in a future where you’ve reached that dream.  What surrounds you? Who is present?

Now pass each slip through the candle flame (carefully! don't burn them, just let them feel the heat). As each one passes through, say out loud:

"It is done."

Not "I hope." Not "maybe." It is done.

Place these slips in your small box or bag.  Put them on your altar or another place that feels sacred to you.

You've just told the universe what you're calling in.

Reflection

After your ritual, write:

What characteristics will I need in this new chapter? If these dreams are done, who are you becoming? Bold? Disciplined? Soft? Fierce? Steady? Write down the qualities you'll need to embody.

What energy do I want to bring to achieving my goals? Hustle? Flow? Joy? Determination? Ease? There's no wrong answer, just what's true for you.

Where is energy flowing right now? Look at your 2-3 chosen dreams. Which ones have a burning need behind them? Which ones have a tailwind, where the universe is already conspiring to help? Which ones feel alive vs. which ones feel like you think you "should" want them?

Callback to Week 1: When you love yourself, you get clearer about what you actually want. Your self-date showed you what nourishes you. Do the dreams you selected align with what nourishes you? If not, revise.

Accessibility Alternatives

For voice processing: Speak your dreams out loud and record them. Then speak your chosen 2-3 and say "It is done" for each one with your whole voice. Listen back and notice which dreams make your voice change, get louder, sound more alive.

For movement: Put on music that makes you feel powerful. Hold your 2-3 chosen dream slips. Dance with them. Let your body move the way it would move if these dreams were already done. What does your body do when it's living inside that future? Fast? Slow? Grounded? Wild? Let the movement be the declaration.
